The Marzotto Textile Archive was established as a space dedicated to the preservation, study and enhancement of the Group’s heritage. Rooted in the local area, it has projected Valdagno and Vicenza onto the international stage and today represents a centre of knowledge and inspiration for designers and industry professionals.
It houses decades of collections, documents, books and files that recount not only the history of the Marzotto Group, but also the evolution of textile techniques, styles and influences that have shaped fashion from the twentieth century to the present day.
The project has taken shape thanks to meticulous recovery, restoration and cataloguing work, carried out with the support of archival specialists. It is a place that celebrates the past, engages with the present and creates value for the future.
We can only take pride in this extensive heritage, restored and made accessible in a single location — a place that tells not only centuries of tradition, craftsmanship and textile expertise, but also the story of a company that has always been closely connected to its local community, shaped by the people who have brought it to life over the years and decades.
This project stands not only as a proud testimony of identity and memory, but also as a space for study and dialogue for students and professionals. It is also our way of expressing gratitude for this remarkable history — that of the Marzotto Group — and of feeling even closer to our community.
